Nicola from Padova feels more European than Rotterdammer. “And that’s why Rotterdam is a good city to live in,” says the 35-year-old from Italy. “Because this is the gateway to Europe!” Not surprisingly, he was introduced to the city through a European project. “I always want to gain new experiences. That’s why I looked for a European project. Fortunately, a nice project from Rotterdam gave me the chance to be part of it.” He has now been living in Rotterdam for seven years. He gets to know other Rotterdammers by walking down all the festivals.
